Commuters will face another wet morning today, as the tail end of a low-pressure system pushes its way through the region.
The rain, however, should taper off by about noon, according to WTNH meteorologist Gil Simmons' latest forecast model, although the skies will remain mostly cloudy.
After Wednesday, a high-pressure system will pass through the state, bringing with it mostly sunny skies, with only the minor threat of rain on Thursday, according to Simmons.
The weekend will feature ample sunshine and highs in the 80s, Simmons says.
Morning moderate rain tapering from west to east 8 A.M.-Noon with gradual afternoon drying.
Sun and clouds with a slight pop shower threat inland, but mostly dry & less humid.
