Norwalk Police Sgt. Lisa Cotto said police were searching for a man who had broken into his children's mother's Meadow Street home just before 5 a.m. Thursday and threatened her with a hammer.
Mullins, of 18 Monroe St., Norwalk, was charged with home invasion and first-degree reckless endangerment and held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
Police shot him with a Taser; he kept running and turned right on South Main Street in South Norwalk, Cotto said.
Because he would not stop running, police shot him with another Taser, which brought him to the ground, Cotto said.
